The Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She is responsible for managing seating arrangements and guest inquiries while ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dining area. The role demands excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in line with Bacha Coffee brand standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Welcome and greet guests in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Coordinate seating plans with the service team to maximize table turnover without compromising guest experience.
- Liaise with the service and kitchen teams regarding guest flow and special arrangements.
- Adhere to company grooming and hygiene standards.
- Assist with daily opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Maintain a tidy, organized reception and entrance area at all times.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably seated.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and outlet information to confidently answer guest queries.
- Handle guest complaints or requests promptly and efficiently, escalating to the Manager when necessary.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalized service at all times.
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hostess or Guest Relations Officer in a high-end F&B or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or Russian language is an advantage).
- Presentable, confident, and well-groomed appearance.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
