Applied Industrial Technologies is an extensive network of industrial distribution facilities located throughout Canada. We currently have an immediate opening for a full time Hose Technician in our Nisku, AB location.

The Hose Tech must demonstrate positive, professional and courteous manners to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The hose test tech will represent the company in a professional manner aiming at achieving a superb quality of the products we supply.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assemble, build, measure, cut, crimp, and test industrial hoses.
• Operate various cutting and machining tools such as saws, grinders, shears, crimpers, etc.
• Able to operate forklift and other small loaders.
• Inspect and test product.
• Document non-conformances.
• Communicate with supervisor any assembly discrepancies;

Qualifications (experience & education):

• Valid license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED. Preferred technical training in related field.
• Mechanically inclined coupled with strong working ethics.
• Ability to take instructions and follow directions.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if needed be.
• Ability to lead by example and to promote high morale by showing enthusiasm for your work and determination to achieve results.
• Ability to establish a strong sense of trust with team members.
• Ability to learn and follow company’s policies and procedures
