Job Title: Appliance Home Delivery Driver (Lead)

Location: East Coast Appliance, 400 North Military Highway, Norfolk VA. 23502

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS

Typical Pay: $60,000 ? $80,000 a year

Flexible schedule. Work a 5- or 6-day workweek

Typical Hours: Starts daily at 7:00 am. Performs an average of 10 to 12 scheduled home deliveries per-day. 8- to 10-Hours Per Day.

Typical Work Hours Per Week: 50- to 60-hours per-week.

Management: Truck Lead manages a team of one (1) or two (2) helpers/drivers.

Physical Requirements: 100% touch-freight. This position involves moving appliances by hand, all day, every day. It can only be described as very physical work.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a valid Virginia ‘REAL ID’ Driver’s license.
• No DUI or Reckless Driving convictions.
• No moving violation convictions in the past three (3) years.
• No at-fault accidents in the past three (3) years.
• No negative points on driving record.
• No felony convictions.
• No misdemeanor conviction in the past three (3) years.
• Must have a professional customer service demeanor.
• Must have appliance hand-truck experience.
• Must be able to follow company protocol and policies.
• Must be willing and able to pass FMCSA pre-employment drug screening, to include screening for marijuana.
• Must have experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
