Trash Truck Helper – $14/hr | 3:00 AM Start | Full-Time | Kirby Sanitation

Early start. Physical work. No shortcuts.

Kirby Sanitation is hiring Route Helpers for residential trash collection. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding outdoor job—not a sit-down position.

If you show up, work hard, and stay consistent, this is a solid, steady job. If not, this won’t be a fit.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ride on a residential trash truck and service customer carts
• Lift, pull, and empty trash and recycling containers
• Return carts properly to customer locations
• Work alongside a driver to keep the route moving efficiently

 SCHEDULE

• Start Time: 3:00 AM
• Days: Monday – Friday
• Finish when the route is complete (typically early afternoon)

 WHAT THIS JOB IS LIKE

• Fast-paced, repetitive physical work
• Outdoors in heat, cold, and rain
• On and off the truck all day
• Team-based—your crew depends on you

NOT A FIT IF

• You struggle to show up on time—especially early mornings
