Job Summary
A Heavy Vehicle Driver is responsible for safely operating heavy trucks, trailers, tankers, tippers, buses, or other heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods, materials, equipment, or personnel across the UAE while complying with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. as well transport the employees/labor to the site using BUS.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded.
- Maintain delivery notes, trip sheets, fuel records, and logbooks.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Comply with UAE traffic regulations and company safety procedures.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and site personnel.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4, 5, or 6 depending on vehicle type).
- Minimum 2–5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience in the UAE or GCC.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to work long hours and travel across different Emirates.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Basic communication skills in English; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading activities when required.
