We are an established company with 19 years of experience in the UAE, providing reliable heavy equipment, machinery, maintenance, and technical services to our customers.

We are currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment / Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is primarily a field-based, hands-on position, requiring the candidate to travel to customer sites, construction sites, workshops, and other locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out field servicing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment from Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Volvo, Hitachi, Hyundai, Doosan, Cummins, Kubota, and other major brands.
• Identify mechanical and hydraulic faults using practical diagnostic methods and equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, overhaul, and reassemble engines, gearboxes, transmissions, final drives, and other mechanical assemblies.
• Repair and overhaul hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, control valves, hydraulic cylinders, hoses, and hydraulic circuits.
• Rebuild and repair hydraulic cylinders, valves, planetary drive units, suspensions, springs, bushings, kingpins, and other heavy equipment components.
• Perform engine-related work including inspection, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and overhauling of diesel engines.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to equipment requirements and maintenance schedules.
• Respond to breakdown calls and attend equipment at customer and field locations.
• Perform emergency breakdown repairs and recovery operations when required.
• Identify parts and components required for repairs and communicate requirements to the supervisor.
• Maintain proper service records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure all work is performed safely and professionally.
• Keep tools, service vehicles, and work areas clean and properly maintained.
• Act as a point of contact for maintenance-related issues in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor or Foreman.
• Work independently in the field and provide practical solutions to equipment breakdowns and technical problems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, or similar role.
• GCC experience is required, preferably with UAE experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of diesel engines and heavy construction equipment.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, JCB, Cummins, Kubota, and other major equipment and engine brands.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel-engine systems.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repair.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentation is an advantage.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and at different field locations.
• Must be physically fit and capable of carrying out hands-on mechanical work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/mechanical training or certification is an advantage.
• UAE/GCC driving license is an advantage.
