<Responsibilities>
- Supervise and coordinate all cleaning and sanitation activities across the facility, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, and public spaces
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and safety procedures aligned with OSHA standards and environmental services best practices
- Train and mentor janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety measures, and use of cleaning equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations, hospital standards (if applicable), and quality benchmarks
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper maintenance of floor care machinery
- Enforce safety protocols related to OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff
- Collaborate with other departments to address specific cleaning needs or special projects requiring detailed attention
<Skills>
- Proven experience in custodial services, environmental services, or janitorial management within commercial or healthcare settings
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Expertise in cleaning techniques, including floor care (stripping, waxing, polishing), sanitation procedures, and use of commercial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with hospital or healthcare environment requirements (nice-to-have)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team of custodial staff
- Ability to develop effective cleaning schedules while managing multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong communication skills for reporting, training sessions, and team coordination
