The Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering friendly, professional, and efficient service throughout all stages of the guest experience — from pre-arrival and check-in to in-house support and check-out. This role ensures each guest receives exceptional service to create a memorable stay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide courteous and professional guest service at all times.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow up on rooms not checked out by the scheduled departure time.
  • Make and manage reservations for walk-in guests and over the phone.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about the property and local area.
  • Perform concierge duties including booking restaurants, tours, and transportation.
  • Balance and reconcile a cash float at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain high service standards and contribute to a positive guest experience.
  • Keep the front desk stocked with up-to-date information on dining, recreation, and local activities.
  • Ensure the front desk and office area are always clean, organized, and presentable.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of booking systems and office software is an asset.
  • Ability to handle cash and perform basic accounting.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, and evenings.
  • Must be fluent in English both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, with breaks.
