Job Purpose
To provide friendly and efficient customer service while creating a warm and welcoming environment for all customers, with the primary aim of retaining existing customers and attracting new ones
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers confidently and professionally
- Guide customers within the showroom, introduce them to the Sales Consultant, and arrange refreshments
- Assist customers until a Sales Consultant becomes available
- Contact customers two days after their visit to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained
- Capture walk-in customer details accurately, enter them into the system as leads, and share them with the line manager on a daily basis
- Create leads in Salesforce and assign them to the respective Sales Consultants
- Ensure all leads are followed up and report lead conversion status to the manager
- Generate leads from telephone enquiries and forward them to the Sales Team
- Ensure all incoming calls are answered within three rings
- Ensure all calls are transferred to the appropriate person within 45 seconds
- Submit showroom trackers, first-visit survey reports, SSI reports, telephone enquiry reports, delivery follow-up reports, and other required reports in a timely manner
- Remain alert to any unusual or inappropriate activities within the showroom and report them accordingly
- Support the Delivery In-Charge/Delivery Manager in receiving vehicles in Oracle and updating the daily vehicle stock ageing report
- Assist in arranging showroom display vehicles and updating stock ageing reports on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
- Support the Delivery In-Charge in conducting physical stock checks on a weekly basis
- Assist the Delivery In-Charge/Manager in managing and coordinating test drives on a daily basis
- Maintain records of maintenance for the fleet of test drive vehicles
- Prepare vehicles and documentation to support test drives for Sales Executives
- Collect customer feedback and share it with the Branch Manager for daily review
- Assist in coordinating required maintenance activities and supporting suppliers
- Maintain inventory records of showroom supplies and report stock requirements to the line manager accordingly
Educational Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- A degree or certification in hospitality, business, or a related field is an added advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role
Competencies
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a showroom, retail, or hospitality environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with showroom management systems is preferred
