The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center and the Breakers Hotel—two landmark oceanfront properties in the heart of Rehoboth Beach—are seeking a motivated and results-driven Group Sales Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for a hospitality sales professional who thrives on building relationships, driving group business, and representing premier beach-destination hotels.

Position Summary

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating, negotiating, and closing group business, including corporate meetings, associations, social groups, SMERF, and leisure groups. The role focuses on maximizing room revenue, meeting space utilization, and overall guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solicit and secure new group business through prospecting, networking, and sales calls
  • Manage new group accounts from initial inquiry through contract
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and rate negotiations in alignment with property management goals
  • Coordinate closely with operations, catering, and front office teams to ensure seamless group experiences
  • Maintain accurate account and booking information in the property sales system
  • Conduct site tours and represent the hotels at trade shows and industry events
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hotel group sales experience preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
  • Familiarity with hotel sales systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the Delaware beach or regional meetings market is a plus
