The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall presentation of the hotel’s outdoor spaces. This role ensures that all landscaped areas reflect the high standards and aesthetic expectations of a luxury hospitality property, creating an exceptional first impression for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain all hotel grounds, including lawns, gardens, walkways, driveways, and outdoor amenities

Perform routine landscaping duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, planting, and watering

Ensure flower beds, trees, and shrubs are healthy, well-groomed, and seasonally appropriate

Keep outdoor areas free of debris, litter, and hazards at all times

Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, irrigation systems) safely and efficiently

Monitor irrigation systems and adjust watering schedules as needed

Assist with seasonal landscaping projects, including planting and holiday décor setup

Identify and report pest issues, plant diseases, or safety concerns

Support special outdoor events by preparing and maintaining event spaces

Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance (hospitality or luxury property preferred)

Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and irrigation systems

Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high aesthetic standards

Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Experience working in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end residential properties
