Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care not cutting, and general groundskeeping duties. A passion for working outdoors and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care activities including fertilizing to ensure healthy grass growth.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
• Maintain flower beds, gardens, and other planted areas by weeding, mulching, and planting as necessary.
• Irrigate lawns and gardens appropriately to promote optimal plant health.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
• Assist in landscape design projects by implementing planting schemes and maintaining existing landscapes.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the use of power tools and hand tools commonly used in landscaping.
• Knowledge of horticulture, including plant care and irrigation techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in outdoor environments.
