Job Summary

The General Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance works within the hotel premises to ensure all equipment, facilities, and guest areas are maintained in a safe and efficient condition. The role involves handling basic electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, carpentry, and painting tasks while providing prompt support to hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of hotel facilities and equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Attend and resolve guest room maintenance complaints promptly.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting issues.
• Inspect hotel equipment and report any defects or safety hazards.
• Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Assist in emergency repairs and breakdown situations.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
• Support renovation and improvement projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
