Duties

• Ensure a clean and safe environment within our warehouses.
• Assist with Work Order picking and fulfillment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed within our Shipping Department
• Assist with material handling using forklifts, straddle stackers, and hand trucks to move sheet goods and fabricated components efficiently.
• Support machining processes including CNC milling machines, by preparing materials and ensuring proper setup.
• Support fabrication activities by helping move, hold, and load materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols involving tooling, machining equipment, and material handling devices like forklifts and cranes.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine issues or tooling problems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production flow.

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments involving CNC machines, welding, or fabrication processes is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of hand tools, tooling setups, and safety procedures related to machining and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required upon hire.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining quality standards during production.
