Job Overview

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our fabrication and installation team here at The Rock Shop. This position supports all aspects of the shop and field installation process, including material handling, fabrication assistance, shop cleanup, and job site support.

No previous stone industry experience is required, but construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is a plus. We are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication of granite, quartz, and quartzite countertops and surfaces
• Help load, unload, move, and organize stone slabs and finished products
• Support installers at residential and commercial job sites
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas
• Assist with polishing, cutting prep, and material handling
• Follow all safety procedures and lifting guidelines
• Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and professionally

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials regularly
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Comfortable using tools and equipment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Forklift or construction experience is a plus
