Duties

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools or supplies as needed
• Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, or performing basic tasks under supervision
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as sweeping, trash removal, or minor repairs to keep work areas tidy
• Participate in team efforts to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
• Assist with job site setup, teardown, and daily cleanup
• Support directional drilling crew with materials, tools, and equipment
• Help stage and organize conduit, cable, and electrical materials
• Assist with trenching, pulling wire, and basic underground utility work
• Follow directions from crew leaders and operators
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times
• Perform general construction and labor tasks as needed

Experience

• Previous experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a team-oriented environment
• Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in manual labor roles is a plus
