Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gardener & Estate Groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the beauty of our outdoor spaces. This energetic role involves cultivating lush gardens, managing landscape features, and ensuring the overall health and appearance of the estate grounds. Duties

• Maintain and cultivate gardens, lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees using hand tools and power tools to ensure vibrant growth and aesthetic appeal
• Implement irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency and plant health, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Operate greenhouse equipment for plant propagation, propagation, and seasonal plantings to support year-round greenery
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and weed control to uphold high standards of presentation
• Manage planting schedules for flowers, vegetables, and other greenery in accordance with seasonal cycles and estate needs
• Assist with farming activities including soil preparation, crop planting, harvesting, and crop rotation to support sustainable land use
• Maintain detailed logs of plant growth, yields, and environmental observations to refine growing techniques specifically for our local micro-climate
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds for pests or disease issues and apply appropriate horticultural treatments in compliance with safety standards
• Represent the brand at local markets, managing transport, setup, and sales of garden products
• Maintain an organized workshop and keep inventory of necessary parts and supplies
• Confidently operate heavy equipment including skid steers, chainsaws, and tractors to manage land and complete projects
• Act as the primary technician for all small and large engine equipment (lawn mowers, chainsaws, etc.), ensuring all tools are in peak operating condition

Requirements

• Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture or related fields with knowledge of plant care techniques
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, greenhouse operations, lawn care equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Growing experience in cultivating a variety of plants including flowers, vegetables, shrubs, or trees
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices such as pruning, fertilizing, mulching and pest management
• Knowledge of farming practices including soil management and crop rotation is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
• Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills
