Horticulture Plant Services is the merchandising division of Kurt Weiss Greenhouses, specializing in the merchandising of quality Indoor and Outdoor product. We are seeking enthusiastic merchandisers to maintain and display our product in big box garden center locations! .

Job Description:

• Unloading and stocking shipments of Live Goods
• Set and sign product to planograms
• Ability to merchandise product inside and outside stores
• Provide customers and store associates with product knowledge
• Ensure product is stocked and presentable at all times
• Assist in identifying opportunities and solutions for sell thru
• Provide support to Sales Manager and store employees as needed
• Work effectively independently and as a team player to perform all tasks assigned
• Maintain all plant displays on Monster racks and A frames by ensuring impactful presentations
• Cull dead and/or distressed plants from display
• Water plants as needed using store provided equipment
• Communicate any product needs and/or customer feedback to Manager

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to routinely walk, stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift/shift up to 45 lbs
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions ( ex.heat, cold, wind, rain)
• Ability to bend, stretch and kneel
• Ability to push and pull without accommodation

ALSO may be good for:

• Applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more
