Agriculture Coordinator

Description:
The garden assistant will play a crucial role in the day-to-day responsibilities of food production at the mineral center gardens. This position will work directly with the agriculture coordinator to determine responsibilities in site development and maintenance of garden spaces while producing food for the community. In this role, you will participate in all tasks from ground preparation to planting, harvesting, distribution,m and heping to expand our food system.

This position is fun rewarding and designed for a hard-working, active individual with excitement to help further develop our local food production in Grand Portage.

Qualifications:
Must be comfortable working in outdoor conditions. Ability to work in standing, kneeling and sitting positions without issue, and work on uneven ground. Willingness to learn and operate small scale machines, such as tillers. Ability to work independently. Drivers license is required and you must be insurable through RTC auto insurance policy.
