Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the delivery and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and safe transport to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience with warehouse operations or commercial driving. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and delivery operations within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading fureniture from box trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Help with the safe handling and moving of goods, including heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading.
Support route driving by helping to organize deliveries efficiently and ensuring timely arrival at each destination.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
Ensure all items are properly loaded, secured, and accounted for before departure.
Assist in maintaining accurate delivery documentation and reports.
Follow safety protocols during all phases of loading, unloading, and transportation activities.
Requirements

Prior experience in customer service, warehouse operations, or delivery support is preferred.
Experience with commercial driving, particularly operating box trucks or similar vehicles.
Familiarity with tools such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and route driving procedures is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the workday.
Valid driver’s license suitable for driver roles or courier positions.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for load & unload processes.
Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for daily routes.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
