Position Overview: Are you a passionate leader with a knack for hospitality management? We are looking for a dynamic Front Office Manager to oversee our hotel complex front desk and guest services operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences at H2O Suites, Santa Maria Suites, and Southwinds Motel.

As the Front Office Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our multiple hotel front desks and guest services operations, responsible for leading a team dedicated to delivering top-tier service. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction, streamlining check-in and check-out processes, and optimizing efficiency across the front office and pool bar guest service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate front desk and pool bar staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Oversee check-in/check-out procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review daily status, shift reports, and checklists.
  • Analyze arrival, stayover, departure, and room-availability reports and make necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure timely handling of billing issues and implementation of hotel policies.
  • Train, coach, and ensure proper adherence to company policies for front desk & pool bar personnel.
  • Address guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Manage room reservations and optimize occupancy levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental communication.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings, payments, and guest information.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for staff improvement.
  • Review and manage front desk and pool bar staff hours for payroll purposes.
  • Prepare employee schedules based on forecasts, budget guidelines, and productivity needs.
  • Oversee new hire progression through training programs.
  • Foster professional relationships and open communication with managers, employees, and departments.
  • Operate the PMS system proficiently (currently InnQuest RoomMaster).
  • Maintain and organize adequate levels of front office, pool bar tools and supplies.
