Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments, maintaining accuracy in cash handling and basic math skills.
• Assist with food and beverage service, including brewing coffee or tea as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are set properly for guests.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, striving to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Support sales initiatives by upselling menu items and promoting special offers to guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with industry standards and hospitality practices is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
• A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a passion for delivering outstanding service are essential qualities for success in this role.
