Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our establishment. This role involves managing guest interactions, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in food service or hospitality environments. A strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
  • Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and payments
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Assist with serving food and beverages as needed
  • Ensure food safety and food handling procedures are followed according to industry standards
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct guests appropriately
  • Support team members with additional tasks to ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant, food industry, or hospitality preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of serving etiquette and hospitality principles
  • Must be personable, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
