Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk/Night Auditor, where you will be the welcoming face of our hotel during evening hours. This vital role combines guest relations, administrative duties, and hotel management responsibilities to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. As a Night Auditor, you will oversee nightly financial reconciliations, handle guest inquiries, and maintain the safety and security of the property. Your energetic and professional approach will help create memorable stays and foster guest loyalty.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and directing calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
  • Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying transactions, balancing ledgers, and preparing reports for management
  • Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols of common areas, and controlling access to the hotel premises during overnight hours
  • Update reservation systems accurately and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
  • Foster positive guest relations by providing personalized service, offering local recommendations, and ensuring a welcoming environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is highly preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable
  • Experience in night audit procedures or hotel accounting practices is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to handle guest relations with professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
  • Familiarity with hospitality standards including phone etiquette, guest services, and security protocols
