Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering excellent guest service while assisting with daily hotel operations, including front desk duties, laundry, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel systems
Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
Resolve guest concerns or escalate issues when necessary
Front Desk Operations
Process payments, deposits, and receipts accurately
Maintain accurate records of guest information
Monitor room availability and coordinate with housekeeping
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Laundry & Housekeeping Support
Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels
Assist housekeeping team when needed (light cleaning, restocking supplies)
Ensure laundry area is clean, organized, and stocked
Property Maintenance & Cleanliness
Keep lobby and front desk area clean and presentable
Perform routine walkthroughs of the property
Report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred (not required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills (reservation systems, POS, etc.)
Ability to multitask and work independently
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs (laundry, supplies)
Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as folding laundry
