Job Summary
Connell Foundation Food Group LLC is hiring a full-time Front Desk Attendant for our premier state-of-the-art fitness center, the Fieldhouse, located in The Park directly off Route 78 in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Fieldhouse is a boutique; high-end fitness facility focused on delivering a premium training experience to our members.
We are looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and callers, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth daily operations. Your role is vital in creating a positive impression and supporting the overall efficiency of the office environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and proficient with office technology, ready to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Hours vary, flexibility required. Morning, afternoon and evening schedule as well as one weekend day/week. Duties
- Check for email inquiries or voicemail and respond to any urgent business
- Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist as necessary
- Manage member check-in and monitor gym access
- Answer phone calls and emails, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff
- Assist with membership sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member account information
- Stay abreast of expiring and overdue memberships
- Provide information about fitness classes, wellness services, and policies
- Manage marketing materials and promotional flyers
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with tours for potential members and guests
- Follow up with potential members via email, phone, or social media
- Manager inventory, including retail, refreshments, towels, and other locker amenities
