FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE
Staybridge Suites Irvine – John Wayne Airport

OVERVIEW

Staybridge Suites Irvine – John Wayne Airport is seeking professional, dependable, and guest-focused individuals to join our Front Desk team. Hotel experience is not required; however, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn the hospitality industry.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, understands the importance of teamwork and guest service, and can maintain professionalism in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Hospitality is a service-driven industry requiring flexibility, attentiveness, and consistent guest interaction throughout the shift. We are seeking individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome guests with professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly attitude
  • Check guests in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Answer guest calls and requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain appropriate presence and attentiveness at the front desk workstation during scheduled shifts
  • Ensure the front desk area remains clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
  • Communicate professionally with guests, team members, and other hotel departments
  • Utilize approved communication methods and coordinate desk coverage appropriately when operational duties require stepping away from the workstation
  • Learn and follow hotel operational procedures, guest service standards, and company policies
  • Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally while seeking appropriate solutions
  • Support hotel operations during busy periods and high occupancy dates
  • Maintain professionalism and teamwork during all shifts

  • Professional presentation and positive attitude

  • Friendly and guest-service-oriented personality
  • Ability to remain attentive, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Flexible availability based on business needs, including weekends, holidays, PM shifts, and overnight shifts
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn hotel systems and operational procedures
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required
  • Employment verification and professional reference checks may be conducted as part of the hiring process, consistent with applicable laws
