Responsibilities

• Answering phones
• Taking reservations
• Helping guest fill out all necessary rental paperwork.
• Administering a state mandated Jet Ski Quiz for drivers.
• Manage check – ins & time efficiently. to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times.
• Demonstrate leadership by guiding groups confidently, especially during challenging situations or emergencies
• helping guest pick proper life vests.
• Communicating with outside guides to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times.

Qualifications

• Excellent at multitasking and great with numbers.
• Trustworthy for daily closing operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide groups confidently
• Excellent public speaking and communication skills for clear instructions
• Prior experience in customer service or teaching roles is highly desirable
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Knowledge of water safety practices and Jet Ski / Pontoon Boat operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Must be a strong swimmer and work well under pressure.
• You will need to get a Maryland Boating Safety Certificate online. $25
• You will need to attend a Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources safety training. Free
• You will need to have or attend a CPR, basic first Aid, & Stop the bleed class. Free
