Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Box House Hotel. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality experiences. Responsibilities:

· Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.

· Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.

· Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guests’ stay.

· Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met.

· Manage reservations and room assignments to optimize occupancy and guest satisfaction.

· Process payments and maintain accurate financial records using our hotel management software.

· Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly, escalating matters when necessary.

· Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.

· Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to coordinate guest requests and room availability.

· Upsell hotel amenities, packages, and upgrades to enhance guests’ experience and increase revenue.

· Stay informed about hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to provide accurate information to guests.

· Participate in training sessions to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.

· Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

· Proficiency in using computer software and reservation systems.

· Ability to remain composed under pressure and handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
