Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel.
Hours would be 9:00am-3:00pm. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and hospitality, showcasing excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls, take reservations, and address guest requests promptly.
- Assist with resolving guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software.
- During slow times there are projects, lobby cleaning, stocking, etc.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest service.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
