Hours per day: 11.5 hours or as assigned

Rotation: 4×2 or as assigned

Purpose of Position:

Ensure efficiency in the acquisition, storage and distribution of supply and other food service related materials. Receive incoming freight. Purchasing, receiving, inventory, storing, and associated record keeping of products and supplies as well as performing general cleaning and floor maintenance duties.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Experience and Background:

  • Perform all tasks safely and in a timely manner.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience or training which demonstrates suitability for and knowledge of what is required in this type of work.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft products.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures & cleaning supplies.
  • Enjoy working with people; must be friendly, helpful, patient and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service, organization and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, or other Requirements:

  • Valid Driver License that meets ICE Services’ insurance criteria.
  • Current DEC Food Handler’s Card.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card – preferred, not required.
  • Rotational schedule of at least 11.50 hours per day for a minimum of 21 days consecutively as required.
  • Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds on regular basis and perform routine walking, standing and bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services, as well as urban community services.
  • Must pass a pre-hire drug test, breath alcohol test, occupational fitness test, criminal background check and computer-based testing.
