We offer great pay, benefits and a great, safe work environment.Mirror Lake Inn is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Servers to join our team at The View Restaurant and The Cottage Restaurant, two unique dining experiences located at Lake Placid’s premier hospitality destination.
The View Restaurant is an AAA Four Diamond rated fine dining establishment known for its locally sourced cuisine, elegant atmosphere, and exceptional service. This position is ideal for servers who enjoy providing a high-end dining experience and have a strong knowledge of food and wine.
The Cottage Restaurant offers a lively, high-volume environment where servers and bartenders deliver friendly, efficient service while creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for guests.
Successful candidates will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a team environment, and strive to provide exceptional service that keeps guests returning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare dining and bar areas with special attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
- Greet guests promptly and attend to customers once seated
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Assist guests with menu selections and make recommendations when appropriate
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage menus, including locally sourced ingredients
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure smooth service
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, professional service
- Address guest questions or concerns with a positive and solution-oriented attitude
- Issue bills and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment throughout the shift
