Full job description

There are immediate openings for Food Service Helpers in the School Nutrition Department for the 2025/26 school year.

Ivan Green – 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM (5.5 Hrs.)

Helendale – 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (4.5 Hrs.)

DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Serves as cashier on student food service line.
Set up prep area/serving line/cash register for menu items and ease of service.
Prepare foods and ingredients properly, efficiently, and courteously.
Serve food from steam table of food line in cafeteria-style operation.
Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
Wash and sanitize all pots, pans, and utensils.
Assist with cleanup of equipment, serving areas, and work areas.
Count/store/return leftover foods properly following all food safety guidelines.
Assist Cook Manager or Food Service Director with additional tasks as needed.
