Job Summary:
The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to our guests. This position supports servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Ensure all dishes are presented according to restaurant standards.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff regarding orders and special requests.
- Assist servers with clearing tables and resetting dining areas as needed.
- Verify food orders before serving to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas.
- Provide friendly and professional interactions with guests.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to carry trays and lift.
