Job Overview

The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers by providing timely support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and ingredients, to effectively communicate with guests.
• Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during food handling and delivery.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service operations and address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices, culinary techniques, and customer service principles is advantageous.
• Experience using POS systems is a plus, as it enhances efficiency in order processing.
• A strong commitment to food safety standards and practices is essential for success in this role.
