Overview:
The Food Runner is responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to customers. The Food Runner also assists the servers in maintaining a clean environment for guests throughout the dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Ensure compliance of all policies and Code of Conduct as specified in the Associate Handbook.
- Be attentive of guests’ needs assist in providing a pleasant dining experience.
- Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist.
- Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable departments.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
