Job Summary : Desire Lounge is looking for professional, energetic, and customer-focused Food & Catering Services Staff to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have experience in food and beverage service, catering, restaurants, lounges, hotels, or a similar hospitality environment.

The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, assisting with food and beverage operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• * Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• * Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
• * Serve food and beverages according to the lounge’s service standards.
• * Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
• * Assist with food preparation, buffet setup, catering arrangements, and event service as required.
• * Maintain high standards of food hygiene, personal hygiene, and cleanliness.
• * Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures.
• * Ensure food and beverage presentation meets the required quality standards.
• * Handle guest requests, feedback, and basic complaints professionally.
• * Coordinate with kitchen, service, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• * Assist with setting up and clearing tables before and after service.
• * Check service areas regularly and replenish required items when necessary.
• * Follow company policies, UAE hospitality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
• * Support the team during busy periods, events, and peak operating hours.
• * Perform other food and beverage service duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• * Previous experience in food & beverage, catering, restaurant, lounge, hotel, or hospitality operations is preferred.
• * Candidates with experience in the UAE/GCC hospitality industry will be an advantage.
• * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Pleasant personality with a strong customer-service orientation.
• * Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices.
• * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• * Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• * Ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
• * Good grooming and professional appearance.
• * Basic English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
