Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service, familiarity with POS systems, and a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation. Whether working in a quick service restaurant, café, or retail food setting, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
• Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items to enhance sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation standards
• Manage food handling procedures safely to ensure quality and safety of all products
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness
• Support team members during busy periods by providing efficient service in a fast-paced environment
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or café environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary
