Full job description
Responsibilities:
– Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
– Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development
– Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
– Assist with behavior management strategies and techniques
– Support students with special needs, including those with autism
– Promote literacy education by reading to students and encouraging reading activities
– Assist with math instruction and activities
– Help maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
– Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children
– Knowledge of preschool curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices
