Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fleet Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating fuel delivery trucks to supply our construction sites. Your expertise in truck types and driving conditions will ensure timely and efficient fuel delivery, supporting our ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, adherence to safety standards, and a strong work ethic.

Duties

  • Operate fuel delivery trucks, following designated routes and schedules
  • Load and unload fuel supplies at various construction sites and facilities with precision and care
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, records of fuel quantities, and route documentation
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials such as fuel
  • Communicate effectively with the shop regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or equipment issues
  • Assist with routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with hazmat endorsements
  • Proven experience in truck driving
  • Knowledge of route driving best practices and traffic regulations across diverse counties/states
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must maintain good attendance
  • Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulatory compliance in transporting hazardous materials
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and documentation
  • Will require daily lifting of over 50 lbs, with bending, twisting and climbing
