Role Overview

The F&B Production Supervisor oversees day-to-day production floor activities, ensuring that production, packaging, cleaning, and warehouse tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with food safety standards.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, working closely with production line operators and reporting to the COO.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Line Supervision

  • Supervise daily production and packaging line activities
  • Allocate tasks and monitor productivity of production line operators
  • Ensure production targets and schedules are met
  • Support brewing, fermentation, bottling/canning, kegging, and packing activities

Hygiene, Safety & Quality

  • Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times
  • Supervise cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, tools, and production areas (CIP and manual)
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, municipality, and internal quality procedures
  • Conduct basic quality checks and escalate any issues

Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate completion of production, cleaning, and quality logs
  • Maintain the HACCP documentation and ensure compliance at all times
  • Maintain shift records and batch documentation
  • Support inspections and audits by food safety authorities
  • Report deviations, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management

Team Supervision

  • Guide and support production line operators and warehouse staff
  • Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, and safe working practices
  • Support onboarding of new team members
  • Escalate performance or discipline issues when required

Warehouse & Logistics Support

  • Assist with raw material handling and finished goods storage
  • Coordinate packing, loading, and dispatch preparation
  • Flag stock shortages, wastage, or inefficiencies

Experience & Requirements

  • 2–5 years experience in food or beverage production, factory, or production line environment
  • Previous team-lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety
  • Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
  • Able to follow SOPs and production schedules
  • Good English communication skills
  • Experience in beverage or dairy production is an advantage
