Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bar Staff member, you will be responsible for serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Compensation includes tips.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process transactions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as needed.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests.

Skills

• Proficient in operating cash registers and POS systems.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in banquet service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• A background in food service is beneficial but not mandatory.
