Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening Housekeeper / Public Areas Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of hotel public spaces and assisting with housekeeping needs during evening hours. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment for guests and works efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and guest common areas
• Vacuum, mop, dust, sanitize, and remove trash throughout the property
• Monitor and restock supplies in public restrooms and housekeeping closets
• Respond to housekeeping or guest service requests in a timely manner
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed, including stayovers or special projects
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items to management
• Ensure cleaning standards are met according to hotel brand and company expectations
• Support laundry or additional housekeeping tasks when needed
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to guests and team members

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25–40 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
