Job Title: Electrician Helper/Apprentice

Compensation: $25 Depending on Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Location: Woodbridge, VA

We are seeking electrician helpers/apprentices interested in working in all aspects of indoor/outdoor electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of new and existing repair work. You will assist an electrician while learning how to perform the job duties independently. You must be able to follow instructions well. Regular attendance is essential in this frontline position. If you are a dedicated, hardworking individual with drive, professionalism and able to learn processes quickly this may be the right position for you.

Responsibilities:

– Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

– Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

– Conduct preventative maintenance.

– Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.

– Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

– Deliver and install electrical components.

– Follow established safety practices and procedures.

– Support the mission, vision, and core values of the company.

Qualifications:

– Must be self-sufficient and able to work on your own.

– High school diploma or equivalent required.

– Proficiency in the use of shop tools preferred.

– A valid driver’s license is required.

– Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

– Ability to pass background check.

– Ability to pass drug screen.
