16 hr to start as a moving helper

17 hr for a driver/lead helper to start

$1 Raise after 90 days. Drug free! Start Immediately!!

Self contract work 1099

Duties

• Safely operate box moves and sometimes drive U-Haul vehicles with or without Uboxes to transport household or office items between locations
• Load and unload furniture, boxes, and heavy items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Assist customers with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moves
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while in U-Haul vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, respecting clients’ property, and addressing any concerns professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine checks on your stacking to ensure safety standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate ways to be on the same page and optimize planning for your day and be on time

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, especially with U-Haul trucks or similar vehicles is a plus not req
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks
• Experience with warehouse operations or moving services is a plus
• Knowledge of lifting best practices and navigation tools
• Familiarity with operating furniture dollys/ hand trucks
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork
