Driver

Location: Sharjah, UAE

About the Role

Al Safwan Marine is looking for a responsible and reliable Driver to join our team in Sharjah. The selected candidate will be responsible for safe transportation of employees, documents, materials, spare parts, and equipment as required for daily company operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Transport employees, documents, materials, tools, and equipment as assigned.
• Deliver and collect spare parts, equipment, and other company materials.
• Handle local purchases and material collections when required.
• Transport staff to workshops, yards, vessels, and other work locations.
• Follow assigned routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations.
• Maintain the vehicle in clean and good working condition.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain proper records of trips, deliveries, and collections when required.
• Follow UAE traffic rules and company safety procedures.
• Perform other driving-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid UAE Manual Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE driving experience.
• Good knowledge of roads in Sharjah and Dubai.
• Good spoken English.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation applications.
• Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading of materials when required.
• Good driving record and responsible attitude.
• Punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required.

Preferred

• Previous experience as a company driver, delivery driver, or office driver.
• Experience driving for a technical, marine, construction, or service company.
