Driver

ROLE PURPOSE

As a Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, professional, and reliable driving support for ROX UAE operations. You will play a key role in transporting employees, customers, documents, vehicles, and company-related items as required, while ensuring punctuality, vehicle safety, route efficiency, and professional conduct within a dynamic automotive environment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive safely at all times.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Handle company vehicles with care and responsibility.
  • Assist with basic loading and unloading when required.
  • Report vehicle issues, damages, or accidents immediately.
  • Follow traffic laws, road safety rules, and company policies.
  • Support daily operational driving requirements as instructed.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked safely and securely after each use.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and movements.
  • Check vehicle fuel, cleanliness, tires, lights, and basic condition regularly.
  • Assist in delivering documents, parcels, keys, or company items when required.
  • Ensure all driving duties are carried out in a polite, punctual, safe, and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with administration, operations, sales, logistics, and management teams when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel, mileage, vehicle usage, and related expenses when required.
  • Assist in customer vehicle pick-up, drop-off, transfer, test drive preparation, or delivery support when required.
  • Support showroom and office teams during customer visits, events, vehicle launches, exhibitions, and special activities.
  • Maintain proper handling of vehicle keys, documents, registration papers, delivery notes, and other operational items.
  • Ensure company vehicles are used only for authorized business purposes and in accordance with company instructions.
  • Support vehicle movement between showroom, service center, registration centers, suppliers, customers, and other locations.
  • Report any traffic fines, delays, route issues, vehicle concerns, customer concerns, or operational observations to the direct supervisor.
  • Ensure all vehicles are driven responsibly and in a way that protects company property, customer vehicles, passengers, and road users.
  • Continuously support the company’s premium image by maintaining punctuality, safety, professionalism, cleanliness, and high driving standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid UAE driving license is required.
  • Arabic language skills is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of UAE roads and routes.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Safe, responsible, and defensive driving skills.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English is preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm, polite, and professional under pressure.
  • Ability to follow instructions, schedules, and routes accurately.
  • Strong punctuality, reliability, discipline, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to handle company vehicles, customer vehicles, and related documents responsibly.
  • Ability to coordinate professionally with employees, customers, management, suppliers, and external parties.
  • Previous experience as a driver, company driver, personal driver, showroom driver, logistics driver, delivery driver, or related role is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of road safety standards, vehicle handling, basic vehicle checks, traffic regulations, and professional driving etiquette is preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience as a Driver or in a related driving role, preferably within automotive, luxury retail, corporate, hospitality, logistics, or service environments.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
  • Rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as required by business operations.
  • Driving duties across showroom, office, service center, customer locations, suppliers, registration centers, and related business locations.
  • Continuous driving, standing, walking, waiting, vehicle checking, document handling, and operational support throughout working hours.
  • Direct interaction with employees, customers, visitors, suppliers, contractors, management, logistics, sales, administration, and external parties.
  • May require extended working hours, route flexibility, urgent trips, inter-branch movement, customer support, vehicle delivery, or operational driving requirements.
