Job Description

Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

  • The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable of all local attractions, restaurants, entertainment ideas and directions.
  • Must always present a pleasant customer service attitude
  • Understand and practice exceptional hospitality
  • Greet all guests with a smile at all times
  • Use the guest’s last name at all times when appropriate
  • Responsible for opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel
  • Provide professional hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner to all guests
  • Assist guests with transportation to offsite locations using only approved taxi/limo service
  • Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure
  • Knowledge of hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, services, main attractions in the area, parking rates, etc.
  • Continually monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of guest services area
  • Post up in the appropriate area when not completing tasks
  • Work in accordance with our Security Department to ensure all safety measures are being followed
  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort as a concierge, doorman, or bellman preferred
  • Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests
    • You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests, and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations
    • You will consistently deliver our GUEST model:
      • Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile
      • Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name
      • Establish/anticipate needs
      • Solve and own all requests/complaints
      • Thank everyone
