Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Diver to join our team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Performing underwater inspections of structures, foundations, and seabed conditions and reporting findings to the project team
- Assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of underwater components.
- Conducting underwater measurements, photography, and video documentation to support engineering assessments and quality control
- Supporting survey teams with positioning, marking, and verification of underwater construction elements
- Preparing dive plans, conducting pre-dive checks, and participating in risk assessments and safety briefings
- Maintaining diving equipment in good working condition and reporting any defects or incidents promptly
- Working with supervisors to ensure diving operations comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and project procedures
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Diploma with 5-8 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Valid commercial diving certification from a recognized authority and medical fitness to dive
- Experience in construction, marine, or offshore diving operations
- Strong knowledge of diving safety procedures, emergency protocols, and relevant regulations
- Good physical fitness, situational awareness, and comfort working in varying underwater conditions
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Experience on island, coastal, or offshore construction projects
- Familiarity with underwater inspection techniques, non-destructive testing, and use of underwater tools and equipment
- Knowledge of underwater video and photography for documentation and reporting
- Prior experience working with engineers and surveyors on marine or infrastructure projects
