Position Overview
As a Distribution Associate, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and supporting internal teams with timely material distribution. Your work directly impacts service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for distribution
- Organize, stock, and label inventory within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
- Load and unload deliveries safely
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
- Coordinate with operations and field teams to ensure timely fulfillment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for tracking inventory
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with shipping processes and carrier labeling
- Experience supporting technical or field service operations
